Fall is here and it’s time for a new pancake recipe! These apple walnut pancakes are delicious and easy. Adding a dash of cinnamon makes them even more perfect for the season. Top with your favorite syrup, butter, or more walnuts! Enjoy!
Ingredients (makes 8 servings):

- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 eggs
- 2 to 3 gala apples
- 6 tablespoons chopped walnuts plus more for topping
Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix together the milk, butter, honey, and eggs. Gently stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well mixed.

- Peel and chop your apples. Mix the apples, cinnamon, and walnuts into the pancake batter.

- Spray a large baking sheet with non-stick spray. Put down parchment paper and spray again. Pour the mixture and tap the sheet against your counter a few times to level it out.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for a few minutes and then flip out on to a wire rack or cutting board if you have one large enough.
- Slice into 16 pieces and serve with syrup and top with walnuts, cinnamon, and/or syrup if desired. Enjoy!
